THE WORLD IS CHANGING all around us at a rapid pace. We believe the arts need and should inform that change. As such, Public Art needs to be an intentional part of that Conversation of Change. Public Art has a tangible impact on public health, community engagement, and social interactions. Public Art has even proven the ability to improve mental and physical health outcomes, by promoting well-being and addressing social and spiritual issues through art.
We create in a community-led process that uses arts, culture, and urban design to shape the physical and social character of a space. It involves various sectors (public, private, non-profit) and community members, with the goal of enhancing economic, social, and physical aspects of a space, place, and ultimately the neighborhood, with the aim to improve community well-being and healing.
Much of this is participatory is participatory in nature, which engages community members in the planning and creation of the art itself. Whether its Community Building, providing a platform for dialogue or simply giving identity to a space.
Let’s share some ideas and create something new.
